Do You Know the Different Bricklaying Techniques?

The dimensions of bricks used for flooring are generally 4×20×20 centimeters. When constructing a brick wall, if a portion of the wall is built in one day and the continuation of the work is postponed to the next day, it is important not to leave the completed section as a straight vertical line. Over time, this can cause the wall to develop cracks at that point. To prevent such cracking, the end of the constructed section should be left in a zigzag pattern or overlapping joint (known as “Hasht-o-Gir” or “Lariz” in Persian), so that the work can seamlessly continue from that point the next day.
